The 250 members of the Grand Strand Golf Directors' Association represent hotels, motels, resorts, condominiums, golf courses, theaters and other area businesses that are actively involved in the golf business. There are two categories of membership:

Active Members:

An Active Member of the Association is the representative of a hotel, motel, condominium, resort, golf course, theater or independent golf packager. Membership resides with the member property. A member property can have more than one representative if they choose to pay additional dues. An Active Membership carries all the rights an privileges of Association Membership including the right to vote in all elections and the right to hold office.

Associate Members:

An Associate Member of the association is the representative of a business that does not fall under the Active Member criteria, but is nonetheless actively involved in the golf business. The membership resides with the member property. Associate Member properties can also have more than one member if they choose to pay the additional membership dues. An Associate Member carries all the rights and privileges of Association Membership including the right to vote in all elections. Associate Members can hold the office of Secretary or Vice-President in the Association but cannot serve as President.
